Kawat is built around basketball, competition and meeting people through the game. These guidelines apply to everyone on Kawat: players, captains, organizers, officials, streamers and viewers.
1. Respect other players
Trash talk is part of the game. Insults, abuse and humiliation are not. Disagreements are normal; handle them calmly, or ask Tati to help settle them.
2. No betting (no pustahan)
Kawat is just for fun. Do not offer, arrange or accept bets on any game, player, result or statistic, inside or outside Kawat chats. The only money-related game condition allowed is "losing team covers the court fee", where the losing team settles the court fee directly with the venue. Tati hides betting messages, and repeat offenders are muted or removed.
3. No fighting or violence
Physical fights, threats of violence, deliberately hurting another player, bringing weapons to games, and encouraging violence are not allowed.
4. No harassment
Do not bully, stalk, threaten or intimidate anyone, keep contacting someone who does not want contact, sexually harass anyone, or target people because of who they are.
5. No hate or discrimination
Kawat does not allow abusive or discriminatory conduct based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, barangay or any other personal characteristic.
6. Play fair
Do not manipulate game results, scores, statistics, ratings, rankings, tournament results, credits or bookings. Report the real score, confirm results honestly, play in your real age division, and do not use fake accounts or put players under another person's name.
7. No scams or fraud
Do not use Kawat to trick people out of money, sell fake court slots or tickets, impersonate someone (including Kawat staff or Tati), or promote fraudulent schemes. Kawat never asks for your password or asks you to send money to a player.
8. Appropriate content
Do not post content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, sexual, extremely violent, fraudulent, infringes someone else's rights, or is meant to harass someone. This includes team photos, logos, usernames, court notes and streams.
9. Messaging
Use game chats, team chats and private messages for basketball and community conversations. No spam, unwanted advertising, threats or abusive messages.
10. Privacy
Do not post another person's home address, private phone number, private email, financial details, passwords, ID documents or other private information without their permission. Do not stream people who asked not to be shown.
11. Show up (no no-shows)
If you join a game, show up. Agreeing to a deal means your team is counting on you. Captains can mark no-shows, and backing out of a locked game or on game day counts against your reliability ("shows up"). Repeated no-shows can lead to restrictions.
12. Streaming
Stream only games whose players agreed to be streamed, respect the venue's rules, keep the score honest, and keep live chat friendly.
13. Reporting and blocking
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Kawat. If a message or a player breaks these guidelines, tap the ⋯ next to the message (or at the top of a private chat) and choose Report. You can also Block a player: you won't see their messages, and neither of you can send the other a private message. They aren't told. You can unblock players in Settings → Account (website) or Me → Account (app). You can also email info@queaytech.com. The Kawat team reviews reports, usually within 24 hours, and removes content or mutes or removes players who break the rules.
14. What happens when the rules are broken
Depending on what happened, Kawat or Tati may: hide or remove content; give a warning; mute a user for a period; restrict features; remove a player from a game or tournament; disqualify a team; cancel prizes; adjust credits obtained by abuse; suspend an account; or permanently close it. Kawat may act immediately when needed to protect people or the platform.
15. Appeals
If you think an action against your account was a mistake, email info@queaytech.com with your username and what happened. We may ask for more information.
